Included in this workshop is:

  • refreshments and light lunch
  • all materials needed to complete the workshop
  • Fabric to complete 3 different screen-printing techniques

  • The exposure of your own image onto a screen

Screens are excluded. Equipment of the studio will be used for the duration of the workshop. You are welcome to purchase a printing kit, should you want your own screen-printing equipment

A basic workshop teaching you

  • The technical aspects of screen-printing equipment, paint and fabrics
  • The screen-printing process from image, to positive to screen- you will be painting and drawing your own image
  • Different screen-printing techniques that allow you to creatively screen print your own art pieces
  • This workshop is for the creative artist or the enthusiastic crafter

In this workshop you get the opportunity to print your own images.

 

The studio & host

The workshop is hosted by Alice Tindall.

  • Alice has a MTech in Textile Design and Technology.
  • She has been working in the creative industry since 2000,
  • She has developed various products for interior designers and fashion designers
  • She has a wide knowledge of international markets and has marketed product
  • at International Tradeshows such as The California Gift fair (USA) and the Formex tradeshow in Sweden.
  • She has been hosting workshops since 2010.
  • She designed textiles for various fabric houses and clients.

The workshop is hosted in Pretoria east.

Alice has a lovely garden, and attendees will have the opportunity

to experience the wonderful atmosphere with a cup of coffee.

  • 1) printed T-shirt/ art piece fabric or paper
  • 2) Printed bag / art piece on fabric or paper
  • 3) Printed fabric that can be blocked or sewn into a cushion/ art piece on fabric or paper
