The workshop can now be done online. The sessions are more or less an hour depending on how much needs to be discussed.

Learn how pattern repeat – receive a 2,5-meter digital printed piece of fabric or if you are in Pretoria, you can screen-print a tablecloth

The workshop includes:

• Session 1: Finding inspiration and creating storyboards
• Session 2: Drawing and development of design elements
• Session 3:  Layout Pattern layout
• Session 4: Finalizing of design – compiling a meter of fabric or a positive

Screen-printed fabric remains the best quality but is restricted in colour. Digital printing is mostly done on synthetic fabrics and natural fabrics need to be coated to be digitally printed.

Please note, this is a design workshop. I strongly believe that every person should creative their own fabric and therefore I will assist you in the digital aspect of the design.
